Why aren't new movies shot with digital cameras?

One reason is that the switch from celluloid to cyber will mean the end of era. Many old school filmmakers are reluctant to make the jump, even though they're well aware that it's inevitable, they want to hold on to the glory days of movie making as long as they can. I saw an interview with Steven Spielberg where he said he will rue the day when he is forced by progress to switch over.
