How do I get rid of dark post-pimple marks/scars?

Admittedly, I used to mess with my face a lot and irritate/pop my pimples when I would get them. This left a lot of scars and dark marks (spots) on my face when the area healed. Is there a way to get rid of these post-pimple scars? Do you have any home remedies or product recommendations (please only recommend them if you have actually USED them)?? Please help. Thank you so much in advance! A clearer face will definitely give me more confidence in day-to-day life and make me feel and look better.
