Does the condo ociation have to replace damaged drywall?

Perhaps, and perhaps not. It all depends on the cause of the damage involved. If such damage occurred because of issues with common elements (leaking roof or similar) the ociation should pay. If the damage occurred because of issues within the individual condo unit, then the owner pays.
