A very hard career decision to make?

I have been very frustrated in making a decision for my career. Here is the story: I always want to move back to my home country, Japan. I got an offer from a big US based financial company in Japan. The salary/package is very good. It's much better than what I currently earn in NYC. However, the problem is the job of the position is something that I want to stop doing it. I work in I.T., so I work with technologies all the time. Technology gets obsoleted very easily. The technology that they want me to do, in my opinion, will be dead or different in 4 or 5 years. I first rejected the offer, and they then increased the salary. I again rejected the 2nd offer. The head hunter asked me why? I told him it's the technology that I don't want to do for a long run because my vision is telling me it won't last long. Hey, I'm like many of you; I want job security. I don't want to spend years doing something that I will end up with nothing in the future and start all over again. It's impossible.
