In the U.S., What do you feel are the opinions of immigration?
I am an American and my family has been here for many generations and has fought in every major conflict this country has had. Quite obviously I'm very patriotic. With that being said, my wife of 10 years is Dutch and still here on her green card. Most Americans don't mind immigrants at all, it's the ILLEGAL immigrants we're tired of. They have caused so many problems in the areas they settle in it's unbelievable. They figure out a way to work the system to get medical care, government aid, etc. and never pay a dime in tax, so all of the hard working tax payers are supporting them. Not to mention the crime rate where there's large concentrations of illegals goes way up as well. For some of the legal immigrants, the part the makes everyone mad is when they come here and ask us to change. Some want to come here and complain about prayer in school, the pledge of allegiance, and just our religion in general. However, if you go to their countries and speak out against their religion you are punished. This country was founded as "one nation under God". There have been tens of thousands of americans that have given there life for this country to keep it free, most had taken an oath to god to protect it. If you come here from another country and contribute to society, pay your taxes like the rest of us and accept the country for the wonderful country it is, then there won't be any problem.
