I was going to precook the ground beef, then drain the fat and put it in the slow cooker with taco seasoning and some beef broth to cook for about 6-7 hours on low. Maybe add salsa 1/2 way through cooking for some fresh flavor. Will this dry out the meat or will it come out ok? I just don't want to use our stove very much tomorrow with my brother and his girlfriend coming over. We want our kitchen to be clean and easy to manage. We don't have a dishwasher, so it will save us some space using the slow cooker.
